Independence Day
This anthology of Crime and Suspense short stories is 172 pages in length and includes my contribution, "The Road to Olathe," a Depression-era tale of a dirt-poor farming family about to lose their home which crosses paths with an unusual stranger who may not be all he seems.
Featured in the July/August issue of Crimeandsuspense.com, "Independence Day" tells the story of a man just released from prison, who wants nothing more after forty years behind bars than to reunite with his old girlfriend.
